School Visits with Sue

From a single classroom Q&A to a whole-of-school assembly, Sue loves bringing the magic of storytelling and graphic novels to young readers – in person and online.

Visit Formats

In-Person Visit

A high-energy author talk on-site at your school: the journey from comic-mad kid in the Congo to Papercutz debut, how a graphic novel actually gets made, and why every reader is also a maker.

  • Length: 45–60 minutes
  • Best for: Years 3–7 / US Grades 3–7
  • Audience: single year level up to whole-school assembly

Virtual Visit

A live video session over Zoom, Google Meet or Teams. Same content as the in-person talk, designed for one connected classroom or a whole-school broadcast, with screen-shared visuals tailored for video.

  • Length: 30–45 minutes
  • Best for: regional, remote and international schools
  • Audience: single class up to multi-class broadcast

Q&A & Book Club

A more intimate, conversational session for classes or library book clubs that are reading (or about to read) the novel. Students drive the questions; Sue brings the behind-the-scenes stories.

  • Length: 30 minutes
  • Best for: book clubs, literature circles, library groups
  • Audience: 1–2 classes (in-person or virtual)
